Hi !
My husband is on H1 and i am on H4. We recently got our EADs. What I want to know is, can i start working right away with my EAD while my husband works on H1 or are there any rules like my husband also needs should change his status from H1 to EAD so that I may use my EAD card?

Hi,
I filed the i-140 last October, and didn't hear anything until May 2007 when i received an intent to deny. After speaking to the attorney he put the wrong name on the application! He fixed that then forgot to send the check!
So we refiled a new I-140 again PP, and referenced the labor certificate in the old case that we appealed.
They looked at the new case, and put in a request to get the original labor cert from the old case, which took about two months.
I received approval yesterday.

My 485 is under processesing with a priority date of March 2006.
I was browsing through the instructions to e-file my I-131 (Travel document) and found this interesting point and was a little confused.
This is from USCIS website
You are not eligible to electronically file this form if:
You have a pending I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence Status or Adjust Status currently at a USCIS office and you are eligible to file the I-131 for no additional fee.
Does this mean we can no longer file for I-131 online...? I did this last year and didnot have any issue's. Any thoughts/opinions/experiences are highly appreciated. Thanks

Now that the I-485 gates have been opened, I would like to know what will happen to my spouse's H1B application pending before USCIS? Since I am planning on filing for I-485 for my spouse as well, will the H1B process make a difference? Or will the H1B approval cause any issues to the I-485 application?

I noticed they have a Calls to Action from Groups and Organization on the home page, When i tried to see if there are any Immigration related issues posted There were many like increasing H2A etc but nothing corresponding to Retrogression or GC waiting faced by thousands of immigrants.
There are 100s of bills waiting for Co-sponsors published on this website.
I felt we should do post about the issues faced by Thousands of Legal immigrants who are struck in retrogression or Per country limit.
This may be a good place to put as a number of representatives may view it and it is a good way for us to let the people know of the issues.
Any thoughts........

Hello everyone,
I have been following this forum for quite sometime now. I have an issue and need some advice on that. My husband is on EAD and i am H1. I was with company A for a almost 2 yrs and then I joined company B for a project. They applied for my h1 that came through pretty fast through premium process. the project that I was supposed to start on kind of got scrapped and no dates yet known when that would happen. Now my question is that can i go back to company A as they have a project for me and want me to join them again, if i do that compant B will cancel my H1.Please advice if there are any legal issues that might pertain on this kind of case.
